How To Breakdance - Get Down - Knee Drop (Most Well Known Get Down)
In this beginner’s breakdance Get Down tutorial you will learn a basic get down called the Knee Drop and two two 8 count combinations to practice transitioning from the Crossover Step to the 6 Step using the Knee Drop

The Knee Drop is a basic get down used to transition from a Toprock step to a Footwork step
Tips for mastering the Knee Drop:
-Find the leg that you want to drop to a knee and place your other leg’s ankle in the pocket of where your knee drop leg bends
-Pretend like your ankle is glued in the pocket of your knee drop leg and is not allowed to move from this position
-Bend your knee drop leg straight down similar to a lunge
-Keep your body upright throughout the whole get down vs. bending forward or backward
-Land on your toe that is behind your knee drop leg first and then allow your knee to touch the ground
-You will travel slightly away from your cent in order to be able to execute the knee drop
-If you are slamming your knee down, use a wall or something to support you and slowly lower to the ground to get the technique down
-Use your hands to catch your body if needed
