At 17 years old, she took her entrepreneurship international, selling jewelry with OmniPeace and donating a quarter of the profits to help end poverty in Africa. She founded Hello Perfect in 2011, but following a near-death experience and a life-altering diagnosis, she began speaking. Alexa founded Women Empower X in 2016 after noticing a need for connection within a diverse and inclusive community of women entrepreneurs of all ages and backgrounds, and has since impacted 1000s to take action on their biggest dreams.
Alexa says, “Sometimes you do have to take 10 steps backwards in order to figure out the right step forward. But, you're still taking steps. Momentum does not matter if it's forward or backwards, if it's success or failure— those are all just terms in your head. It's literally just taking action every single day.”
