  • 88 - How to make a JavaScript API Client

What is an API client compared to an API endpoint and how do you build, test and document a API client? These are some of the questions that I answer in todays podcast. Essentially an API client is bit like a Software Development Kit (SDK)

In this episode I talk about how I am developing a JavaScript API client using tools such as Jest, Nock, Babel, EsLint and Documentation.js

I have created a beginner friendly HTML, CSS and JavaScript course.  This is quite different from the other courses that we have on HTCW because this is project based. You will be developing a Tip Calculator and this project includes three tutorials.

This is a free course that will be published on howtocodewell.net and YouTube.  The code is available here

In this episode I talk about the course and future project based courses on HTCW. I also discuss the future of HTCW and when I plan to upgrade PHP to version 8.
