Magazine, Ari Hornavar said in a recent story, “As a girl who grew up in Iran during the rise of the Islamist regime, I witnessed firsthand the impact of the morality police on our daily lives,” But, she says, “recently I’ve observed that ‘morality police’ are not limited to Iran’s paramilitary enforcers. They’re a global force, and they’re spreading.”

Here in the U.S. our own morality police have legislated bans against abortion and gender affirming care, the teaching of history and even the reading of books deemed objectionable.
