Zenreach is a company that makes tools to help retailers use digital marketing more effectively. If that sounds like a problem that only marketing people would be interested in, that’s because you don’t know what they do! There are all kinds of fascinating technology problems to solve by utilizing event streaming platforms to process data at volume. Rishi Dhanaraj, our guest today, worked at Zenreach as an intern, and took on a big pile of Python batch jobs, turning them into some really interesting Kafka Streams code.
