This week I’ve been thinking a lot about the New Year, resolutions, and how to position my creative business for results in 2021.
Every year, I create goals & objectives that I think are clear, achievable, measurable, and will help me stay focused month after month even when the initial new year high has worn off. But what I have learned as an artist is that my small business is unique, and that the typical measures and outcomes for a creative freelance entrepreneur simply don’t fit. My business does not fit the typical small business mold. We creatives are different, have different measures of success, and we need to approach planning and goal setting differently.
This week I’l be exploring how I set goals and objectives in my art business. Hopefully we can share some ideas, learn from each other, and plan for more success in 2021 than we’ve ever had before.
