The best escape is often found in what we fear most, which is why Cheryl has sought to make mental health a safe space. After graduating with two triple major degrees at undergrad and a postgraduate degree in International Studies she decided to explore her passion for speaking on sensitive issues and her desire to make one more person more secure in their emotions. Nkosi is experienced in mental health advocacy, sensitisation and social inclusion. Outside of her working environment Nkosi is an all round creative : having been Miss Monash and official university ambassador for the Monash South Africa campus (2016), Most promising model in Zimbabwe award winner at the Zimbabwe Model Awards (2017). Nkosi also represented Zimbabwe at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood 2018 and bagged a bronze medal for modelling, being a panellist on IncorporateZim podcast (2020) speaking about how to break into the YouTube space and amassing over 10 000 views on Tiktok (2021) speaking on the challenges of the dating space in Harare through humorous skits. She is also a lifestyle and food blogger behind the page @raidingthepantryzw and uses her diverse interests to always create a safe learning space that empowers people no matter where from.
