One of the biggest issues for new real estate investors is to estimate the repairs and the approximate cost. I would recommend that in addition to getting contractors' quotes is that you start to understand the cost associated with doing repairs, this will allow you to validate the contractor's quote and determine if this is the project that you want to take on.
