Nearly half of people who are 50 years or older and who have credit card debt use their cards to pay for basic living expenses. That’s according to a survey by AARP. The trouble with credit card debt is that it is easy to accumulate and hard to get rid of. In the next installment of the series, “Buy Now, Pay Later,” we look at strategies to pay down that debt.
