How to Feel Again by Learning to Swim in Your Emotions

Imagine reaching adulthood and realizing you never learned how to swim emotionally.

In this episode of Mindfully Amplified, I’m sharing what it’s looked like for me to stop staying “safe, dry, and disconnected” and start building real emotional depth, without rushing to fix, perform, or self-sacrifice.

We talk about emotional expansion, stored emotion in the body, and a practice I love called the cry date (I call it “swimming lessons”). I’ll walk you through how to create your own; setting the space, choosing supportive music, letting the messiness be messy, and gently moving from what you sense → what you feel → what you need.
