What is the ACT and what is the SAT? Those are college entrance exams. Most colleges require that your kid takes a college entrance a college entrance exam. I said "most" because there are a growing number of colleges that are test optional and that means that they don't require an ACT score or an SAT score. Those colleges will take a portfolio of your best work in lieu of test scores.
In this episode I will share strategies and tools you can use this summer to do your best on the ACT and SAT.

One of the common complaints I hear from busy parents of college bound teens is that they don’t know where to start searching for scholarships. And, when they do start searching, they think about big-name scholarships like scholarships given by giant companies, or celebrities.
I often wonder have they ever thought about the scholarships that are given by the clubs and civic organizations near them. Or, their own workplace? Or even the places they receive goods and services farm on a weekly basis?
In this weeks episode of the Get The Acceptance Letter podcast, I talk about the ways going deeply local can result in big scholarship dollars!

The nightmare: You send your college bound teen off to school and they never figure out what they should major in. Eventually they accumulate a large debt with no degree to show for it.
The reality: Many college bound teens enter undecided and then pick a major and most undergraduates change their major several times before graduation.
Relax. It's going to be okay! In this episode we unpack some strategies for busy parents who are anxious about their kid who "doesn't know what they want to do."
