Survivor 44 has been over for three weeks, and after four seasons of new era Survivor, this feels like the perfect time to talk about the show's flaws and how to actually fix them. I didn't love much of what I saw in the last four seasons, but let's be real, even when Survivor is not great, it's still better than 95% of what is on TV.

However, since the 44 finale, I rewatched Survivor Guatemala (probably one of the most underrated seasons of the show), and it really made clear to me what Survivor needs to do to get back to the show most people want to see!

One little spoiler: Casting is the least of the show's worries.
