Amazing erotica for your wild innerself!
This story is beautifully written. I found myself angry when 'Lydia' was and tearing up when she did. Books as lovely as this one are far and few between. It's hard to find an erotica that gets the classy yet devious atmosphere that this book has. Not since the Marquis's writings have I found such amusement. This story plays out the way I wish Justine had. I Cannot wait for the next one. Hopefully even a third or fourth will come.
Edit: I wrote my original review before reading other reviews and I felt more elaboration on my part was needed. The Erotic Dark is just what the title states. It's an erotic /dark/ novel. This book is not for the faint of heart. It is a BDSM story. Do not expect to find love letters and flowers here. I feel that the negative reviews this book has received were unjustly given by those who had no idea what they were doing. This book was recommended to me via Amazon/reviews after searching through countless stories (trying to find one longer than 10 pages is hard) under things like 'Rape,' 'Dark erotica,' and other not so fluffy words.
Contrary to what has been stated in those negative reviews, this book is not degrading to women. 'Lydia' is given 2 choices. She always has a choice from beginning to end. As the story goes on, the men all help her to truly understand herself. This story also does have romance. Not sure how that got missed but it's pretty clearly put.
In short, if you enjoy the true to life side of BDSM, consented 'slavery,' and a well developed story this book is for you. If you like to play it safe and think handcuffs and a cheap sex store whip are BDSM, this book is not for you. If you enjoyed this book I would also commend the Girlflesh series(Nexus).
Fantastic book! A must read!!
I loved this book! It was very well written, the characters and the story were easy to follow and the sex scenes were sizzling hot and descriptive. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I read the whole thing in one day.
This book is definitely not for the faint of heart! If you're thinking this book is along the lines of Fifty Shades of Grey (FSoG), think again! The story deals with hotter topics than what you'll find in FSoG books! I've read some other reviews about this book and some readers were offended and put off by the humiliation portion of the story.
