Hmmmmm.....
I almost quit reading this story a few times and was going to give it one or maybe two stars. However, it is redeemed by the story line which I have never read before and as I have read thousands of books that is saying something. The author did succeed in making me want to know what was going to happen.
Consequently I kept reading. I did however end up skimming the sex scenes! Dear lord, how to explain them. Bonnie really, really needs to get someone else to write them, or just leave them out! Seriously these are the worst I have ever read! Here are some of the words used for the h, "the moist and fleshy handle of Jennifer's pleasure, curtain of fleshy folds, love bud, petals, " and the H, "meat and berries, man-hose, mighty weapon, man-milk, man-jam". I have to tell you "man-jam" just squicks me out, it certainly doesn't belong in a love scene.
Some of the other reviewers mentioned that the author is from England which would explain some of the oddness in this book. I think it is always problematic for authors to try writing in a style that is uncomfortable and foreign to them. This would have been much better if it had been set in England using vernacular that is common in that country!
Young lad??
Sorry, not for me. I'm not sure I can say what's wrong with this book. It just did not work for me. Who says young lad anymore? !
True Love Forever
This is a voluntary review. Jennifer .and Wesley found true love in an unusual way. She was an artist and he was her nude model. She was in her 40s and he was a young 25. Jennifer didn't realize she was lonely after her divorce and she filled her time drawing when her friend suggested she hire a model. After thinking about it, she decided her friend was right. It would be good to draw pictures of a live model rather than from pictures. She went to the model website, looked at all the possible models and their profiles and selected Wesley. They made an appointment to meet and discuss the details of the work. Jennifer knew Wesley was a sweet, kind young boy/man and she looked forward to their sessions. Of course, there is more to this story and you'll need to read this book to find out what happens. Hint: There is a lot of sex involved. Enjoy!
Great storyline
Great reading, enjoyed this book. Can't wait for more to read from this author.
