You know those little drain flies?   

You probably have caught one of them while you were brushing your teeth Do youor taking a shower at night, before going to bed.  

They are annoying but aren't harmful to human health. However, they convey a lack of hygiene.  

Drain flies, also known as filter flies or sink flies, are closer to mosquitoes than to actual flies. Did you know that?  

They show up because of humidity and lay their eggs in between the tiles and especially in open drains.

And last, but not least: clean your bathroom! Keep your bathroom always clean and disinfected, since these flies are attracted by dirt.   

You can clean the drains with some hot water and white vinegar. Remember to remove all the hair that gets stuck in the drain.  

Keeping your bathrooms clean and disinfected will prevent these flies from showing up in the middle of your relaxing bath.   

Besides these tips, remember to keep the toilet lid closed and keep a window open to avoid humidity.
