It doesn’t make sense. Kingdom ways just don’t make any earthly sense most of the time.

We think things should look a certain way. Work out a particular way. Happen this way. But, that’s not how God does things.

It’s just the same when we read 2 Cor 12:9 where Paul talks about ‘delighting in weakness’.

It doesn’t make sense!

Aren’t we supposed to ‘be all we can be’, ‘never show them you’re weak’ and ‘always be happy’? Isn’t that what we’re raised to believe?

Well, thank God that His ways are not our ways, because so much of what we think we are ‘supposed’ to believe, keeps us dependent on our own ability instead of God’s.
