- We can solve a lot of issues with good conversations and manage conflicts.
- Conversations are a huge untapped resource and the better we will get at getting along.
- How to approach our friends to serve them better as you get to know them.

6.24: Do you think texting/voice messages, is that a conversation?
- Text is a great way to keep it live even if it’s shallow swimming.
- Some things can’t be done about text it involves presence.

- When it’s used as a shallow end to a deep end.
- There is a purpose to small talk, it’s like warming up!
11.45: What are some key elements of a good conversation?
- A lack of agenda and the presence of purpose!
- There’s a reason we are having a conversation not just because of proximity.
- Look for where you can add value and celebrate.

- Creating environments for a better conversation setting.

- Find a way to do something / address it!
- Some ideas on how to approach the setting in a calm way and be in their shoes.
- Make the table more interesting than the phone.
- Knowing who you can be more direct with.
- How to protect your own boundaries and self worth.
- Don’t play the victim and work out how to serve them as a friend.

- You have to take the first step and show people you’re willing to go there yourself.
- Create a space for authenticity and to be trusted.
- Being a genuine human.
- You’re not going to be vulnerable with someone who isn’t present.
- How to shelve stuff to be able to show up and be more present in the here and now.
