- Connection through social media
02.18: What were some if the things you chose to do when you relocated to step out and connect with people?
- Initially saying yes to a lot of opportunities but realising that wasn’t sustainable for who we were.
0.508: What advice would you go back and give yourself to fast track deeper connections?
- When you show up as your authentic self, it gives off the radar of who you want to genuinely attract.
- Choosing similar interests and events to go to rather than going to anything.
- Really asses what signal you are putting out.

- Negativity and closed mindedness can stop people from forming connections
08.40: How to overcome rejection from past experiences?
- Learn to present the things that you like about yourself in interactions
- It’s not about rejection, it’s more not being the right fit - reframe it.
12:20: What advice would you want to give to someone to encourage them to initiate?
- Believe that you can have a conversation with everyone
- Everyone has something to offer
- How to enter a room with a good mindset.
15.14: What’s some good question starters?
- Don’t start with the ‘What do you do?’ card!
- Finding a form of connection - outfit, tattoos, where they are from to where they are now?
- Even superficial questions help.
17.05: How do I stop from coming across as someone who is interviewing energy….
- Learn to read the room!
- You want to come across with a genuine energy that is about being curious and wanting to understand them better.
- Practice and take improv classes.
- Put yourself in uncomfortable settings

- How to speak to yourself privately to get uncomfortable
- You matter and deserve to take up space and contribute!

- Create an environment of welcome.
- Think of thoughtful ways to go the extra mile.
- Set expectations for the guests to know what to experience.
- Help find conversation starters for people to connect.

- Coming with the energy of hopefulness
- It is on each of us to own our own experience to make it what you want it to.
- See everything as a learning experience!
- Knowing that you can enter a room empowered.
30.12: How can we become more approachable and connectable in the world that we live in?
- It’s a gift to be able to see people ‘authentically’ online and what they give across.
- You’re able to gain more information to find more connections.
- Looking at social media as a positive tool.
34.15: What are some great body language and energies that help make someone feel more approachable?
- Strong eye contact and smiling it can give off friendliness.
- Easy to laugh.
- Try not let the circumstances control your energy.
- More mindful how you’re dressing and way you posture your body.
