*****TRIGGER WARNING*****
This week's episode will contain depictions of violence & domestic physical & mental abuse
This week on the podcast we have Amy Potthast. Amy is a dog mom, a soon-to-be DOCTOR of physical therapy, a Chiefs fan (#superbowl) and a survivor of Domestic Violence. Amy sits down with me and talks about her past relationship and how she dealt with the mental & physical abuse. 1 out of every 4 women will experience extreme physical abuse from their partner--let me write that again: ONE.OUT.OF.EVERY.FOUR. I talk about how this podcast is about creating the life you want...and that sounds really nice and fun and cool. But no matter what- there will always be adversity and there will always be challenges. And how you rise above and what you learn from those life lessons is so important. Amy talks about her past relationship, what the process of pressing charges was and advice to those who are in a toxic relationship. Amy is absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait for you guys to hear!!
