In this episode, we’re talking about what to do when the enemy is loud, successful, and trying to rush you into surrender — even though God already promised you safety.
We’re anchored in Isaiah 36–37, walking through the moment King Hezekiah is threatened by Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, who’s fresh off demolishing city after city and now sets his sights on Jerusalem. The pressure is real, the fear tactics are loud, and the enemy’s questions are designed to make God’s promise feel questionable.
Here’s what I’m breaking down in this episode:
• When the Enemy Uses Past Wins to Intimidate You: How Sennacherib leveraged his previous victories to pressure Hezekiah into surrender — and how the enemy still uses “proof” to make you doubt God’s word today.
• The Danger of Entertaining the Enemy’s Questions: Why the enemy doesn’t always attack with force, but with questions that slowly pull you into doubt — just like in the Garden.
• “Do Not Answer Them”: Why silence can be spiritual warfare, and how engaging the wrong voices can pull you out of alignment.
• Promises Without Fine Print: How the enemy offers comfort, provision, and ease — but never tells you the cost.
• Letting God Fight for You: What happens when you stop arguing, stop defending yourself, and choose prayer over panic.
So this week, I’m challenging you to ask yourself: Are you rushing to surrender because the enemy looks powerful — or are you willing to wait and trust the promise God already spoke?
Because when you let God fight for you, you won’t have to lift a finger. Your weapons are prayer, the Word, and the promises He’s already given you. And waiting well means using them — consistently.
