Short, sweet, sexy tale of life changes. This story tackles a couple finding their way after a major life change. Figgy Berlin is an artist who was blinded in an accident with a drunk driver. He has found his way back to art but has yet to reconnect with his wife Mariana even though she has been by his side throughout. Mariana wants to reclaim their physical intimacy but Figgy has to be willing. Can they find their way back into each others arms or is Figgy going to use his blindness to push away the woman who loves him.

I adore Mariana. She is sweet and kind but no pushover. Just the kind of woman a man with Figgyâs artistic temperament needs. I hate Figgyâs name and I felt like the story was too short. I would have loved to known how they were together before the blindness. But all in all I really enjoyed this story.

Virginia Nelson is great

Whether Ms. Nelson is crafting full length novels or short stories, they tug at my heart. This is such a quick beautiful story of remembering how and why you love someone. Bravo

I had to listen to this at intervals as I found this book so irritating I nearly abandoned it. The book just waffles on with absolutely no depth and some scenarios which were quite irrelevant and pretty pathetic. The headphone incident for example. Trite and totally forgettable

A Great Read!

I liked reading The New Farm Hand, all about Misty the oldest daughter & Jonah the new farm hand. Her dad just hired a new farm hand who happened to be drop dead gorgeous in his own way. Misty's little sister Brittany thought he was all that and then some. The author wrote an interesting story and the characters brought said story to life! Misty was still trying to figure out what to do with her life. In the mean time she gave riding lessons, and went to horse shows. Read this story, and see what happens with the new farm hand!

Entertaining Easy Read

This is an entertaining short story. If you like short, hot romance books, you will enjoy this one. It is a quick and easy read with charm and passion.

Molto interessante è il complesso gioco sentimentale e la confusa situazione affettiva del protagonista.

L'ambiguo protagonista paga a caro prezzo il suo conflitto interiore e quello familiare con un ricovero in ospedale psichiatrico, ma riesce a riscattarsi e a trovare la sua indipendenza grazie all'aiuto di uno psichiatra che gli insegna a fare delle scelte e ad accettare difficoltà e dolori. Infatti, attendono Marco ben due lutti. Perde entrambi i suoi due amori, Tecla e Antonio, ma riesce a superare la disperazione e a maturare una vita familiare indipendente.

Punti di forza del racconto sono il personaggio di Antonio e i dialoghi, soprattutto quelli in siciliano. Anche molto belle le scene di amore omosessuale, sfida difficile perfettamente riuscita. L'autore recita il suo romanzo con grande coinvolgimento personale, rendendo vivo il racconto di Marco. Di Benedetto, infermiere di professione, è anche formatore e ha recitato per rieducare ed aiutare i pazienti a superare traumi psicologici.
