how children were seen as being useless and stupid

I never understand predudice, ok some people are different, there are many different forms of this. This story covers mainly Autism, how children were seen as being useless and stupid, when in actual fact many of them are extremely clever and talented. That one young woman, barely an adult can identify with this to the point of not only being a friend, but willingly taking on his care shows how special she is. Daniel is amazing and accomplishes a lot, he has a huge capacity to love, even before he can understand what that feeling is. Candace and Daniel grow and develop proving her family wrong. I found this story touching beyond words, loving, caring and inspirational. One person takes a chance to help, gives so much including love, taking them on as his family. A gift of help that was being passed on as it had for himself and his wife. Others as well accept and help along the way, but Candace and Daniel give as well. I found this book such a surprise, I wasn't expecting to more than just enjoy it but I fell in love with it. The characters, the subject (which opened my eyes, as I didn't understand as much as I thought I did) the over whelming love and need to help others and to give something back. It is much more than just a story, please give it a read you wont be disappointed. It is worth so much more than 5 stars.
WOW!!! JUST WOW!!! NO WORDS!!

I just finished this story, and I must say it is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. I am a huge reader, and a romance fanatic. When I got the chance to read this, it hit close to home for me. My two siblings have a severe case of Autism and other medical conditions. And reading about a character that has the same problems my brother and sister go through every day made the story even more believable. You rarely read a book these days that the characters have autism and other health issues.
Marie Tayse's writing is just soul gripping. She left me a mess, I was crying, my heart was filled with joy and shattered into pieces.
This book right here is such an emotional story, that is now on my top of 2016 reads.
