Pain and sex

I knew what I was getting into when I got this book what I didn't expect was I actually enjoyed the story

It was okay

I was given this Audiobook free for my honest review. I have not been paid in anyway for this review. This opinion is my own.

First, I want to say, the narrator, Sunny Tusker, was great, but the story was a little off for me. This is supposed to be in the realm of BDSM, and though some of the acts were BDSM, it was D/s and more bondage and masochism. When I read the description, I guess I expected something completely different, that included more D/s in it, but there isn't any of that at all in it.

This story actually is about a girl who gets fired from her waitress job, she then finds out she is 2 months behind on rent and will be evicted if she doesn't cough up the cash fast. So she goes to the local coffee shop and looks at the help ads posted and comes across a bdsm type photo magazine ad. She tears the back ad page searching for new models, and the remaining part of the story are 2 live sex shows in which the boss takes photo/video. Reminds me of the Live Sex Acts club on Bourbon Streets. I have never been there...but similar concept, minus the some guy taking pictures (well I guess maybe except they have PR people that might).

It felt missing a lot. I believe this story continues on, but I am not sure how promising it feels. The flow of the story was a reflection. It starts out with Kelly going out on stage for a show and she is reflecting back on how she got her start. The bondage scenes were not very hard and could use a little more excitement. More character description would help as well. It is hard to visualize what is going on when you do not really know what the characters look like.

Not Really My Cuppa

Narration - Sunny Tasker - OK, she has a nice voice, and her secondary characters are slight variations in pitch, not over the top caricatures.

The book? I'll start with the title (on my cover at least) it says "Exploit Me" A Dark BDSM Fantasy

As far as I can tell, it's not a fantasy, it's a girl who's about to be evicted and loses her job waiting tables. She answers an ad to model for some kinky photos and is hired. The job ends up being at a sort of underground club where she participates in some kink and/or sex acts with an audience, some who watch and some who participate, while her "boss" films and "directs".

It starts with nipple play, pinch and clamp, some wax play, a private turned exhibitionist masturbation scene and then a sex scene - with calls to her best friend in between to tell her about the crazy stuff she's doing at her new job. Didn't really feel very BDSM to me just some S/M kink.

It wasn't really my cup of tea.

Scary

This book reads like a wet dream of a classic stalker with a psychologically confused, immature victim.

I guess you could call it a typical Emily Tilton book.

I gave it one star because, although I can understand the dom/submissive dynamic, I don't get turned on by the sadism. A dom who wants control and submission is one thing; a dom who is sexually aroused and revels in the infliction of pain alone, is another.

Psychological abuse of a vulnerable person with obvious mental health problems is not a turn on.

This a theme in Ms. Tilton's books. If this stuff turns you on, you should buy it. Not my thing but I ain't judging.

Spoiler alert!! Dom and sub end up at the Cannes film festival for their pornographic movie. Yup!!

I read the first quarter and was so bored I couldn't find enough interest to finish it

This book either takes so long to get started or it never does but it is extremely boring . I kept reading hoping to find it getting more interesting but by 30 precent I was still shaking my head wondering when this book was going to get going. This author is so much better than this. I am really disappointed. This book is a waste of money. Would not recommend spending money on this book

A Happily Ever After Read by Emily Tilton.

I love Emily Tilton's books. This one started a bit slowly but picked up by the second chapter. Emily took a selfie of here self pleasuring herself and sent it to a boyfriend. She was an academy award winning actress but this turned out to br her downfall. Michael Rollins is a screenplay writer and meets Ktistin in a cafe he cheers her up and he discusses hid screenplay to her. It's almost a mirror image of what happend to her. They act it out and eventually it becomes a bit hit and they are now a happily married couple.

This story drew me right in and I really enjoyed the story. It was a bit too instant love for me and does have a gay for you feel,but it is well told. Errors on grammar (action tags) are the reason I dropped a star. It made reading harder.

No. Listening to this was pretty much a waste of time. All these stories had the same tone. There really was no storyline to speak of.

Ugh, it did not just end like that! Just as we meet Rene Montgomery the book ends, but it was such a great tease and a wonderful introduction to a very interesting character. I have to have more of her! Please, Nessa DeArmond, please write more about Rene with Mr. Brooks. She's fabulous!
