How to Love Yourself

Hi beautiful, today we’re talking about how to love yourself.

There are a lot of definitions out there, but I’m going to define it the way I teach it—the concepts, what it looks like in action, and what changes.

At the most basic level, loving yourself is knowing the value of your human life.

Your value is given.

When you don’t see that, it shows up in very specific ways. You become critical of yourself. You question what people think about you. You tell yourself things like “I’m not good enough,” “I should know this,” or “something’s wrong with me.”

That doesn’t stay in your head—it impacts how you live.

You may hold back in conversations, leave situations you want to be in, compare yourself to others, or feel underlying pressure and anxiety.

Here’s the good news: all of that can change.

When you love yourself, you stop putting yourself down. You take care of your mental health. You don’t hold yourself back from things you want to do. You’re not focused on what everyone else is doing—you’re clear on what you’re doing.

Your relationship with yourself is your filter for everything else.

So if that doesn’t change, nothing else really changes—even if your circumstances do.

Loving yourself isn’t about becoming perfect. It’s about having your own back.

You build the skill to stop beating yourself up, make decisions, feel your emotions, set boundaries, and love what you already have.

From that place, creating more becomes fun—not pressure.

That’s when goals become something that adds to your life, not something you chase to feel good enough.
