In 2019, 34.2 Million people in the US played golf. During the pandemic, that number grew since golf courses provide a fantastic opportunity for socially-distanced gatherings. In 2021, that number increased from 34.2 million to 37.5 million. And while that is great news for golfers and those that fundraise through golf events, the even better news for those of you who don't know the first thing about golf is that you don't need to know anything about the sport to start setting up a successful tournament that raises serious funds for a nonprofit.
