I was pulled to do this episode based off a book I read called "Believe It" by Jamie Kern Lima. She told her company to L'oreal for 1.2 billion. Before that she had an experience where an investor told her no because he didn't think women would by her make up because of her body and weight.
We all have something about us that doesn't sit well with us. For me it was years of feeling inferior because of my height and physical stature. I was made fun of and had women I was interested in tell me they wouldn't date me because of my height.
My feeling of "being less than" and "not good enough" came to its apex when the women I was dating had an affair. When I ask her why she did it, she told me it was because the other guy was tall and had an athletic build. My biggest insecurity was rammed right in my face and I was devastated. Remembering all of the times I was made fun of and rejected.
There was a moment afterwards where I had to make a decision-was I going to allow my biggest insecurity 1) Rule my life and 2) Remain my biggest insecurity OR become by biggest strength.
I chose to make it my biggest strength and in this episode you will learn how I did it.
Enjoy!
