How many hours per day does the average American teenager (ages 13-18) spends on entertainment? The answer is a whopping nine! How about your average American tween (ages 8-12)? The answer is six! With all that media consumption floating around in their heads and hearts, how do you think they measure their value and worth? I think we know the answer. Jesus today in the famous parable of leaving the ninety-nine sheep to go after the one teaches us something directly contrary to the ethos of the world. Our greatness is rooted in God.
