Lisa Skinner has spent 30 years as a behavioral specialist in the field of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. In our conversation we went over the risk factors for the disease - what we can and can't impact.  Lisa herself has had 8 family members who suffered.  

Lisa's goal is to raise awareness of this disease by filling in the missing pieces for all of us.  Our conversation educates us on how the disease impacts our brains, which parts can go first, and how we can interact with those suffering in an effective way.

Lisa Skinner is a behavioural expert in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. In her 20-year career as a community counselor and regional director of senior care facilities, she has helped thousands of families find the best care options for their loved ones. She holds an Administrator’s License through the California Department of Social Services. As a trainer, adviser and public speaker, Paglia has dedicated her career to teaching people the skills to effectively manage brain disease.
