In this episode, I start with a very on-brand embarrassing story about me, a hire car, my faux fur coat, a forgotten lip gloss and the shocking realisation that some cars still need an actual key and a lever on the floor to open the petrol cap đ Â
I share honestly about my own season of being in pursuit of big dreams that havenât fully landed yet, and the very human thoughts that come with that: Is it ever going to happen? Am I good enough? Why does it feel so far away? I talk about a conversation with my daughter that grounded me - her reminder that I didnât pick small dreams, so of course theyâll take time, and why I genuinely believe itâs actually a privilege to even be in pursuit of a goal.
We explore how to look after yourself in the âalmostâ: practising self-compassion, building patience without becoming complacent, using gratitude to anchor you in the journey, and recognising that there are often lessons and inner work in the gap that prepare you for what youâre calling in. I also share one of my favourite practices: aligning your energy with the version of you who has already achieved your dreams, and showing up like her now - not waiting until you âget thereâ to embody her.
This oneâs for you if youâre showing up, doing the work, and wondering when your big dreams are finally going to catch up with youđ«
