Perfectionism is something that people see as a strength, but it isn't. In realityย  perfectionism can be very painful and harming, it's like self-torture.

Do this kind of thoughts sound familiar?
"I need to do this perfect. I can't make any mistakes. Mistakes are wrong. I have to be a perfect mother/wife/husband/daughter, I have to do this better, It's not good enough, I'm not good enough ... "

I used to be in different areas of my life a perfectionist - I set very high standards on myself, and I strove for perfection in many things I did.
The good news are that I learned to overcome perfectionism and I know you can too.
