We called on Matty to share his experience as a personal trainer and Bowhunter in assisting us in planning and preparing for a week long solo backpack Bowhunt in New Zealand we are planning for next year.

We go into detail about the following topics:

  • Strength building in the lead up
  • Weight gain (Lean muscle)
  • Cardio requirements
  • Nutrition and caloric intake needed on the hunt
  • General fitness for hunting
