Hello, you’re listening to High Blood Pressure Wellness Lifestyle Podcast with Donna Williams.  Being busy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can take time and effort. It's easy to get overwhelmed by all the tasks we have to handle each day, leaving little time for ourselves. But it is possible to stay on track even during busy weeks if you have a plan in place. Let's look at some tips and tricks to help you stay healthy while keeping up with your hectic schedule.

I’m Donna Williams, Certified Holistic Health Coach, owner and creator of info-on-high-blood-pressure.com a website that’s all about the healing of high blood pressure using therapeutic natural treatments to achieve your unique body’s ideal blood pressure numbers.

Within my community I help individuals find their alternative restorative therapeutic programs that helps them take mini steps that encourages and reinforce healthy living, awakens them to the powerful and natural healings within their bodies, how we can bring it to life and make the mind set become a habit with benefits.

Today’s Topic Is on How to Prioritize Wellness with a Busy Schedule!

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to take a break?

A break can look like many things, but in this scenario, I'm thinking about something you can engage in and be present in the moment. Often, we turn on Netflix and say we are taking a break -- but this really does us no favors in terms of stress management. So if you can't remember the last time you made time to be present and engage in something you enjoy that has absolutely no way to be productive, take this as encouragement.

Just starting this simple way to me is a great start on how you can prioritize wellness with a busy schedule!

What gets your creative juices flowing or helps you to unwind? This may look like reading, writing, or painting. Or maybe you've always wanted to try tennis, frisbee golf, climbing or music. These things can have many benefits to our nervous system and health, often acting as a reset.

Sprinkling in these breaks into our busy schedules can help with stress management and overall happiness levels. What are you excited about trying next?
