How Do You Raise Resilient Children With Hope? Teaching kids to be more resilient through hope is not only important, it is crucial for curating resilience and preventing suicide in children and teens.

There are times in life when we wonder if we can take any more sadness, pain, struggle or strife. There are moments when we all wonder what it would be like to lay down and not wake up-to escape the trial and the fear and discouragement. In those moments we get to choose who we will be: the antagonist or the hero of our own story. I know I have had those moments in my life and defeating them to find renewed purpose, have been some of the most beautiful moments of my journey.

Meet Elysia Butler the inspiring founder of the ⁠⁠ Foundation. She is an example of facing her own battle with traumatic brain injury, and fighting a mental health challenge and transforming her pain into purpose.

As Joseph Campbell wisely said, ‘The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.’ Through her dedication to communication and awareness, she empowers children to navigate their struggles, offering hope and healing to those grappling with suicidal ideation.
