Today I talk about a topic that comes back almost every day: how to reach Semowi. Now you can read but also listen to me!

Here are the written directions:

Please read carefully the following instructions on how to reach Semowi. Since we are located in the Delta, road conditions can vary depending on the water, flood levels, or rain. We will send updated directions via email if needed, so be sure to check your inbox before traveling.

1. Daylight Arrival is Essential
   It's crucial that you arrive while it's still daylight, as it’s nearly impossible to find Semowi after dark.

2. GPS Directions
   If you're using a GPS, please enter the coordinates 19°46'56.8"S 23°38'39.0"E (or -19.782444, 23.644167), which will take you to the point where you leave the main road (then follow below directions starting at 3).
   Google Maps works: enter "Semowi Nature Camp" and follow the instructions.

Directions to Semowi:

1. Drive along the Maun-Shorobe-Moremi road.
2. Turn left at Mochaba Crossing Lodge, where you will see a blue Semowi sign on the right side of the road.
3. Continue straight and follow the signs for Elephant Havens.
4. Cross two dry riverbeds. Multiple paths exist, but they all lead to the same point.
5. About 800 meters after the second riverbed, you'll see a blue Semowi sign on the left side of the road. Turn right.
6. Follow this road for 3-4 km.
7. After crossing a concrete bridge, drive for 1 km. The road will split, but both paths lead to Semowi.
8. You’ll see a pink house on your right; the gate is located there.
9. Honk when you arrive, as the property is large and it may take a few minutes for us to reach the gate.

Important Note:
If you reach Shorobe Primary School, you've gone too far. You missed the turn at Mochaba Crossing Lodge. Look for our sign indicating "Semowi 4km" and turn back.
