Season 8 - Episode 6

Winter has arrived in Botswana, bringing beautiful sunny days and pleasant temperatures. Mornings are cool at around 12°C (54°F), while afternoons warm up to about 27°C (81°F), making it a wonderful time to explore the Delta.

The first floodwaters from Angola have started to arrive. We are watching the situation day by day and will see how far the annual flood reaches this year. The coming weeks will reveal what the season has in store.

Wildlife is doing well, and animal activity remains excellent. Birds, antelopes, elephants, and many other inhabitants of the Okavango are enjoying this transition into the dry season.

The high season is beginning, and we are delighted to welcome the first guests arriving to experience the Okavango at one of the most beautiful times of the year.

Saison 4 - Episode 6

L'hiver est bien installé au Botswana avec un temps magnifique et des journées ensoleillées. Les matinées sont fraîches, autour de 12°C, tandis que les après-midi atteignent environ 27°C, offrant des conditions idéales pour profiter du Delta.

Les premières eaux en provenance d'Angola commencent à arriver. Nous suivons l'évolution jour après jour et verrons jusqu'où la crue s'étendra cette année. Tout indique une belle saison de hautes eaux.

La faune est en pleine forme et l'activité animale est excellente. Les oiseaux, antilopes, éléphants et autres habitants du Delta profitent de cette période de transition entre la saison des pluies et la saison sèche.

La haute saison touristique commence, et nous sommes heureux d'accueillir les premiers visiteurs venus découvrir l'Okavango dans l'une des plus belles périodes de l'année.

Saison 3 - Episode 6

La route d’accès à Semowi via Matsaudi est actuellement en bon état et reste praticable en véhicule 4x4. Aucun problème particulier n’a été signalé ces derniers jours et les véhicules continuent d’accéder au camp sans difficulté majeure.

Comme toujours dans le Delta, les conditions peuvent évoluer en fonction du niveau de l’eau, mais à ce jour nous ne constatons aucun changement significatif ni aucune restriction d’accès.

Nous recommandons simplement de voyager de jour et de nous contacter avant votre départ pour obtenir les dernières informations sur l’état de la route.
