When is it truly time to walk away—without guilt, confusion, or regret?
It’s not just about being unhappy. It’s about knowing in your core that you’ve done your part. That you’ve shown up the right way. That you've led with love, not reaction.
Here’s how to know when it’s really time:
1️⃣ You’ve taken full accountability
✔️ You’ve owned your part without deflecting
✔️ You’ve apologized, forgiven, or sought to understand where needed
2️⃣ You’ve led with consistent love—not just for a week
✔️ You’ve shown up with effort, patience, and positive intention
✔️ You’ve done this daily for at least 30 days (not just during “good” moments)
3️⃣ You’ve been met with little to no effort in return
✔️ They won’t meet you halfway
✔️ No changes, no attempts, no desire to grow with you
✔️ You’re carrying the relationship alone
4️⃣ You’ve detached with clarity, not just emotion
✔️ You know you’ve given your best
✔️ You trust that staying would only repeat the same pattern
📌 Relationships thrive on effort from both sides. If you’ve done your part consistently and your partner refuses to do theirs, it’s time to stop losing yourself to keep something alive that’s no longer breathing.
If you’re torn between staying and walking away, DM me or email me “coaching” and we’ll get to work.
Let’s get it. 🤙🏾
