In order to be successful as a freelance creative entrepreneur, we must be able to think like a boss, not like an employee.  We must drag ourselves out of the operational management of our businesses, if only for a while each day.  We must find some time to think strategically about our business' vision, long term goals, and how to steer the business to reach those goals.  We have to be able to see the big picture, and not just dwell in the day-to-day operations of our art business.
