About the podcast:
Alexandra Tejeda (@teamtoronto) has been a realtor now for just over a year and focuses more on investors. She is currently looking to get her first investment property as well and is passionate about real estate investing. However, she recognized a gap in the market. She is always listening to podcasts and realized that most of the people being interviewed were men - which is fine but she just wanted to promote a different perspective. Alexandra prides herself on learning daily and has really enjoyed interviewing these seasoned female investors in and around the GTA! This podcast is for both new or seasoned investors and the goal is to create a positive, powerful and female empowered investing group!

About the Guest:
Amy bought her first house at 19 and always loved real estate! She really loved the creative side of things and it shows! In January 2021 she and her husband purchased their first duplex in St Marys near Stratford, Ontario, and 5 days after they purchased a second duplex around the corner! They got creative with financing in order to do this and they scaled fast to 7 properties in 10 months! They have completed many unique conversions such as turning a duplex into a triplex, working on a garden suite conversion at another duplex, working on converting anther duplex which was an old chapel into a fourplex and turning their short term rental into a medium term rental in Goderich. Now they are looking to JV, they are looking at commercial properties & they also want to create a log cabin Airbnb mini resort! So many amazing strategies and it just shows how creative Amy really is!
