A career in sales is not for everyone, that's for sure. You need to have strong listening skills, interpersonal skills, industry knowledge, and tech-savviness - not everyone can master that. A lot of people would ask, do you really need to be a college graduate to be successful in this career? That's our guest in this podcast interview - Ernest Clark.
Ernest Clark was a top-performing athlete back in school. He was very competitive and always have this mindset that he is going to outperform the top one. He did not finish college due to some circumstances and right after that, he worked in a factory to have an income but he realized that it's not the kind of life that he wants to achieve for himself and for his family. That's when he had the opportunity to go into the military and that's when he developed self-discipline and started dreaming more for himself.
After his military journey, that's when he got into car sales. He knew he did not have the skills that a top-performing car salesman have, but he had the determination to achieve the financial freedom that he wanted so he learned everything by himself, became aware of the industry knowledge and how to talk to customers until he got to the position that he's at right now. He is a sales manager on a top-performing storefront in his area. What an inspiring journey and a motivational talk that we should all listen to. It's not hard, you just need to get started.
***We're also open to collaborations or guests who can talk about real estate and financial literacy. If you or someone you know is interested to be a guest on my show, please send me an email to [email protected].***
