Learning to create boundaries is an essential part of healing.
Boundaries allow you to remain safe within connections according to your own needs and terms.
But how do we start implementing boundaries?
Especially when we are people pleaser it can feel hard at first because it feels like we are letting people down by creating boundaries, but boundaries are essential for connections to grow and thrive.
So how do we start? The most important 3 steps to start creating boundaries are:
1. Feeling into your body and bringing awareness to how you feel when you are around someone.
2. Clear and neutral communication about how someone is making you feel without blaming, sharing from your perspective and about your emotional state.
3. Learning to say "no". "No" creates an ultimate boundary supporting your mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
