Not all Electricians make good money after becoming qualified. 

You could be the most qualified electrician in the world, able to fix anything and solve any problem. 

What good is that without anyone knowing how good you are? 

It's not good just sitting there hoping the phone will ring with customers asking you to do work for them. That's not going to happen. 

Being in the opposite position where you with your phone would stop ringing because you have too much work would be better.
