Could you imagine when people ask you “Hey, what do you do for a living?” and you say “I’m a YouTuber”
In today’s talk I’m going to show you guys how to make a YouTube channel.
Okay, you want to be on YouTube? You don’t know where to start here’s where to start very very simple steps guys. Very very simple
Step 1
Now, you want to pick a topic.
There are two ways that you can do that. The first way, you can watch this video
( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hg0Pj6eafgI ) on how to find your passion and do those steps, or the easier way. You have a best friend right, when you hang out with that best friend you can talk, something hours, right? That’s pretty much the one thing that you’re most interested in. Make a YouTube channel based on that.
Step 2
One thing that you should NOT do before you start this process is to tell your friends and family because their judgment is going to hinder you from making content, don’t tell them until you’ve done like a hundred videos, then tell people.
Step 3
You do not need fancy camera equipment. Take your cell phone, record yourself, with the selfie camera but do not look at yourself, look at the camera lens. Talk to the camera and imagine it’s your friend, your best friend, and you’re just having a normal conversation with them. You can look down, you can look up, anywhere really, just to start to feel comfortable with it because I can almost promise you that it will be awkward at first. Your first hundred videos are going to suck, just record them and stick to the program.
Step 4
Make a catchy, fun thumbnail. If you don’t know how to do that. Look on YouTube for tutorials. They need to be bright. They need to be loud. They need to be colorful. There needs to be big font. And there needs to be your face on it or the thing that you’re talking about.
Step 5
When you’re uploading this video to YouTube, in the description box, write out a description of the entire video. You can even transcribe the entire video, just as long as that box is full of words, words help search, do it!
Step 6
Underneath that box, there is another box where you fill it in with tags, put every single thing that you can possibly think of that would help people search for your video. Example: how to play the guitar, how to guitar, guitar how to, love guitar, guitar lessons.
Step 7
Now, you can post the video. That is all you have to do, is just hit upload.
Step 8
Do this 100 times. I promise you, you need to make a hundred videos to learn to see if you’re good or not, to see if it’s a thing that you’re skilled at, to find your voice, to get comfortable on camera. You need to make a hundred crappy videos. It is an absolute necessity.
Step 9..........
