How to Stop the Stress of Hardships and Grow!

Listen Later

Hardships, trauma, and toxic productivity —It's a cycle that can be hard to break. You're not feeling well, your job is stressing you out, you've suffered a loss or abuse, and the list goes on, with everyday tasks becoming more difficult as time progresses. These are just some factors that cause us to get little sleep and become unable to do even the mundane things in our day-to-day lives. If you notice, it honestly is a vicious cycle that takes away enjoyment from our life.
If this sounds familiar, tune in to episode 65, where I am joined by Stephanie Hutchins, who founded Serotinous Life and authored "Transformation After Trauma." We'll help break the toxic cycle and shed light on how hardships have impacted our ability to achieve goals while providing insight into what these obstacles really mean.
We'll also discuss the importance of our personal development and how to incorporate daily-self care into our routines even when we feel like we don't have the time!
Trauma can affect us in ways we don't even realize. It really does depend on the extent of our trauma and what we have done to cope with it, but some aspects are similar to others. One of them is fear. We can get scared to listen to our own intuition and begin to second-guess our choices because we believe that this is one of the aspects that may have led us to hardship. Another could be our comfort bubble. We end up feeling so safe in our comfort bubble; we start believing that we don't want to or need to leave it.
These are just some things that hinder our growth and pursuit of better opportunities by keeping us away from challenging ourselves. Tune in to Episode 65 of the Total Fit Boss Chick Podcast as we talk more about what we can do to help ourselves to get out of our toxic cycles!
