How To Suck At Recording

We just talk to Montana Macks. You've likely heard his beats. He's a talented listener and producer who works on some of the best stuff coming out of Chicago. It's pretty lightly editted and very late coming. Please enjoy...

Britton and Dan take a listen to what's on offer in the world of "artificial intelligence" in music.

Zach Goheen is a sound effects editor and he talks to us. Myspace... This is a super casual podcast

We recorded another podcast and here it is

Dan and Britton have a cheeky gear conversation with singer/guitarist/songwriter Miranda Winters, solo artist and singer/guitarist of Chicago's Melkbelly. We talk in depth about recording last year's 'Xobeci, What Grows Here?' and get it about making demos with boom boxes.

Britton and Dan talk ish about music instrument stuff from February 2019 and check out free plugins.

In this special guest episode we speak with experimental electronic musician Anthony Janas about modular synthesis and the sounds off of his latest record, "Lucifer, Scooby Do, and Me" Check out the record here:

Britton and Dan talk shit about chorus pedals and are cold because of climate change. Also, Behringer synths because 2019.

Unfortunately, Britton couldn't make it to this special bonus episode. Instead we have a gear chat with Dan's old internet friend Brendan McGuigan aka Carrot Adventure aka Beautiful Unicorn aka Synthosaurus. Topics covered: synths, mastering, more synths. Find Brendan here:

Britton wants to talk about Behringer's patent sniping, Dan wants to talk about the cheapest mics, Britton and Dan mix a NAMM blues track, and there is no video because fuck it. We suck!
