Learn how to close skin with a simple running, aka continuous, suture technique with Joe Alton, M.D. A pig's foot closely resembles to feel of human skin and is a good template for practicing your skills. Any needle holder, including needle nose pliers, a 1/2 circle sewing needle and sewing thread can be used for practice.
