With leadership comes more compensation and more responsibility. If you think about it, most great leaders started as followers. At some point, there was an activating event that allowed them to assume the role. However, not everyone who has the opportunity to lead will take it. When assuming a leadership role, look for occasions to mentor and groom other leaders.
