In this episode, Janelle and Lori chat with Nicole Roth.
Nicole Roth is a giver of joy and a lover of souls. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and psychology and prior to having children worked as a hospital based dietitian. Her most valuable experience though has come through overcoming the trauma of losing her dad to suicide and losing her health in the process. In the 17 years since that moment she has sought to heal her body, her misplaced identity, the striving that resulted from childhood rejection, and patterns of living as an orphan instead of a daughter of the King. Her book Being the Beloved highlights this transformation in allegory form. As a joy coach, Nicole is passionate about helping other women dig deep to find the truth of who they are instead of the lies they have long believed. She also enjoys helping others discover a love of nature, the thrill of resale shopping, and a joy in naturally nourishing the mind, body, and spirit. Her greatest desire is to help others find their exhale through an abiding relationship of rest and trust (with plenty of margin in their schedules) with Jesus. She lives in Texas with her 3 teen daughters, her husband of 20 years, and many furry friends. She is most at home in her camper, on the water in her kayak, or on the hiking trail with her dog.
