We're back for a jam-packed Rapid Fire episode that throws you across the entire genre map! This week, we're lacing up our spiritual boots to tackle the wildest paranormal threats in anime and cinema. First, we dive into the chaotic comedy and action of Dandadan. Then, we descend into the impossible, with Tanjiro and the Hashira as they face the highest-ranking Upper Moon demons in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. Next, the zombie apocalypse gets a superhero twist as we discuss the alternate-universe cannibalism and horror of Marvel Zombies. We take a moody, romantic detour to talk about the ancient, intellectual vampires of Only Lovers Left Alive. Finally, we return to the supernatural horrors of the Warrens in their supposed final investigation, The Conjuring: Last Rites, before taking a fond, final bow with the Crawley family in the emotional period drama Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale. We also take some time to give our thoughts on Alien:Earth and the results of the recent Emmy Awards.
