Has anyone ever asked you if you're aware of how you communicate? Did you ever stop to think about how effective of communicator you are? Do you think people understand what you're trying to say? How do you react to other people's communication?
Regardless of how many devices we have at our disposal to communicate well, including our ears and mouth, we generally struggle with communication. Yes, we grew up learning new words to say, went to school to learn grammar, and may have possibly taken a speech class. But have we really learned how to communicate effectively?
In the first episode of Culture Within, we jump right into understanding the importance, the mechanics, and what's holding us back from effective interpersonal communication. We'll take a look at what may be holding us back and also what we may do to improve, not only how we communicate, but all how we respond.
