In today’s time, we hear that preppers should look to their neighbors and get them on board. That a community is stronger with more. And this is true the only exception is how well do you really know your neighbor. Even though that individual may be friendly and on board with everything. You have to stay vigilant. You just never know who that person may really be.

   

            How well do you keep track of what is going on in your neighborhood? How much do you actually know about your neighbors. Well here’s the fact. You will never really know them as well as you think you do. Everybody has dirty laundry.  Remember protecting your family is number ONE.  With technology, we can access files and cases much more easily, that would otherwise be harder to obtain.  Did you know that there are upwards of 747,000 sex offenders in the united states. How scary is that? How scary is it to know that you could be living next to an offender and never know it.  We as parents have to be ever vigilant. Because no matter how much we want things to be safe for our children. The hard reality is that we are the only one who are looking out for their well being.

             Remember Prepping for any situation means learning to be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. The first place to start is in your own back yard, well, next door that is.  Learn to trust your instincts, because that bad feeling you get in your gut just may be right. As a parent, a mother my children will always be my priority.
